We have a couple ideas that might solve this issue in 2017.
Steps in order to create 2 WODs (with no sections - just the wods themselves):
Click add new WOD.
Fill out title of WOD.
Select date of WOD.
Click back to list view.
Click Add New WOD.....
The number of steps needed to create dates of WODs are very time consuming. I would love to have a feature where all I need to do is click on the calendar and the default is what has been set in options (in my case, title would always be the date, and in settings I already have posting rules). I timed how long it would take to add 30 dates to populate workouts in and it took nearly 25 minutes by itself between all the back and forth page loading.Christopher Wyant supported this idea ·
We will build a task feature that allows admins/managers/coaches to create tasks for others with due dates, status, etc.
Currently you can assign athletes and leads to a coach using the ‘tag’ functionality.
Thanks for the feedback on this. We revisited this idea internally and think we can work this in in a pretty cool way that could also help the community at large. Look for this next year.
Agreed – look for better CRM features in the future.
Thanks for the feedback on this. We are looking to add a feature that will auto-sign athletes into class once they are at the gym. Once this feature is released, your athletes will not need to manually sign in on their end.
Photo and video capture are features we are looking to add!
I would add that when creating an add, have an option to upload a photo when creating a WOD that will also feed into Facebook and or blog posting. I know there is an issue with server size, but maybe just have a link portion where we have the image hosted on another site.
We definitely like this idea, just not sure if it’s something we will specifically add in the foreseeable future. We are making big upgrades to the performance tracking side of things and this could very well be included.
Spencer, I like that idea a lot. I just noticed that there is a feature that allows us to see how many classes an athlete has attended overall. One of the things I have considered is creating a shirt when someone has attended 365 classes that they get for free (something along the lines of: Getting my butt fit 24/7/365).
