Thank you for providing us with ideas. BEFORE creating a new idea, please search the forum. If the idea currently exists please vote for that idea rather than creating a new one.

We’ll regularly monitor new ideas and assign them an applicable status. Please understand that we may have to decline good ideas from time to time due to the the volume of ideas we get and our current product strategy. When we do assign a status to an idea please keep in mind that this is not a firm roadmap and all dates and statuses are subject to change. How can we build better software for you?

  1. Sports performance tracking in wods that mark to hundredth of seconds and half inch increments.

    I need to have the scoring by time to go to the hundredth of a second. We do things like pro-agility and 20 yard dash where a hundredth of a second can mark significant improvement to our athletes. We also do standing broad jump and vertical where we need to mark up to half inch increments. Maybe there is a way to do this already I am not aware of? I think this can be handy to gyms that run sports performance programs for children and young adults.

  2. Option to have workouts or programs repeat at later dates when programmed

    Let's add an option when programming to have workouts or entire programs repeat at a set later date. This would enable both planned testing days to be programmed without repeat creation or copying, and would save copious amounts of time when simply rolling an entire program, such as a linear progression, foundations or bootcamp-like curriculum to a new start date.

  3. Better Tracking for Timecap

    Different Scoring Options:
    Certain workouts are based off best time but need timecaps. So if you establish a timecap on a workout then if the athlete doesn't make that timecap then it should let them put in the second scoring option, such as rounds and reps, and rank the rest of the athletes that way.

  4. Wod publishing Rules

    Hello

    We have a 6 hour late cancel policy. Our classes start 6:45 am or 10 am. Why can't we hide the wod on the wodify app and only show it on the whiteboard from the kiosk? Would be great and help wodify to be more CrossFit. Otherwise boxes will always have cherry-picking in their affiliates.

  5. Add % field to WOD weightlifting components

    Is there any way to have a % field entered here? One of the great things about all the data we have entered is the fact that it calculates a 1-rep max for members. It would be really cool if we could enter the % into our strength work here, and when the members log in, they could get their actual % they should be using for that day. The chart that's created is really cool, but it goes in increments of 5. If this could be done that would be awesome!

  6. Combine Workouts that are the same but may have been named differently over the years.

    Combine WODs - Over the years we have done Murph (example) a couple of different times. But when it was programmed it was called different names. For example it was called "Murph" today. But last year they called it "Murph - then our box name" and another Murph workout was called Hero Murph. This makes the members results in different places. It would be great if we could combine these into one place so the members get all their past results.

  7. It would be great to upload videos or integration with Coach's Eye.

    It is very cool to get that PR badge! We all celebrate our PRs with our friends already with social media videos such as FB live, mobile videos, e.c.t. How cool would it be to click the PR badge and watch those PRs. What about being able to attach a video taken by a fellow athlete or coach to that PR? Or maybe even a short skill work video for review by a coach? Of course this would be optional and we should be able to determine who can see (i.e. coaches only, friends only, everyone) Storage could be kept…

  8. Would like to see a 'current max for lifts' as well as an ' all time' max for lifts. For aging athletes or those that missed time training.

    Would like to see a 'current max' and an 'all time max' For the aging athlete or for one who has missed a large amount of time at the box. This way their training %'s will be accurate, and they can get excited about seeing the gold star.

  10. New 1 Rep Max that may be lower than previous

    If you enter a 1x1 rep ask if you want that weight to be your new 1 rep max. Sometimes your 1 rep can go down.

  11. Share results on social media

    Post Wods directly to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. - Some of my members would like to post their workouts on social media. If you could create a plug in so they can click on one button to post to social sites that would help. Please also include the box they did the workout in at the same time. We as box owners would love them posting so we get more visibility on social media.

  12. NON RXD PB stars

    Can athletes who do not do RXD workouts (some due to age, limitations) be acknowledged with their own star. We have a fitness catergory (non RXD) and often retest benchmarks, much to their dissapointment they dont get acknowledged on WODIFY for metcon PBs. Would love to see something for this.

  13. Week of programming Blocks

    Give the ability to drop a block of programming for a week instead of Day by day.

    (e.g. a changing 3 day template for weightlifting that I can release on monday and my athletes can use at their leisure.)

  15. Wendler Calculator built in

    Include a Wendler 5-3-1 "calculator" into the system to allow athlete's calculated performance utilizing the Wendler method. There are multiple apps that do this currently however of someone was utilizing that strength program they would use the app to calculate their daily reps/weights and then need to reenter that information (or at least the final set) into their WODify profile.

  16. Trash Can Icon (drag and drop quick delete) in WOD Builder Sidebar

    A way to easily delete sections of a workout without going into edit mode. Just drag and drop into trash can as if you were moving that component.

  17. Athlete access to list of wall workouts with each program

    1. Easier access for athletes to view the workouts from all programs. Should be able to see list of all workouts that have been posted for that specific program in stead of having to search through the calendar. The "tags" should also be for the athletes to easily pick what workout they are wanting.

    Add Ability to get to Add Results directly from Performance Page

    Mobile use case: I'm looking at some historical results from the Performance page and see what my personal best is. Now I want to add some more results. Add a button on the performance page to directly add results to the exercise the user is viewing.

    This would be a much smoother transition than got to Add Results and re looking up the exercise I was just looking at.

    In fact and come to think of it you should combine the performance page with the add results page to…

    We will be creating a whole new athlete app in 2017 which will include a ton of improvements to adding and tracking performance. We will keep this feedback in mind while building that experience. Keep an eye out for these updates later this year.

  19. Ability to star-favorite exercises for quick lookup

    Using the mobile looking up a workout is really a pain. Since there is no search like functionality (only a scroll down) athlete basically have to scroll through the entirey of their boxes historical workouts and exercises.

    I would like the ability to star favorite exercises and ahve there be a new option called "Favorites" under "Performance History" mobile navigation. This would then show a listing of the exercises I return to most frequently via "Add Performance" without having to scroll through a bunch of my boxes stuff to arrive at "weighted pull up", for example, to enter some data.
