How can we build better software for you?

Mass update athlete membership prices

As of right now there is no way to increase our pricing for our crossfit classes for every athlete. So we have to manually remove every athlete from our old program pricing and add them to our new pricing program...
This is obviously a pain when you have a couple hundred athletes.

Please build in some kind of feature so if we change the pricing of a program we can click a box (optional of course) to push all these pricing changes to all our athletes.

At about 3-8 minutes per update depending on individual circumstances, our March 1 price increase for our 300 members is going to cost me 15+ hours of paying someone to do what should be very simply accomplished with a few clicks of the mouse.

Vote for this please guys... when your turn comes to do a price increase you'll be cursing if this isn't pushed through as a top priority!

Be able to mass update existing membership when implementing a price increase.

We are currently in the process of increasing membership rates across the board. We have been in business for over 6 years and have not had a membership rate increase. We don't anticipate the need to do this on a regular basis but the idea of having to go in and change each and every individual member is a monumental task. Would it be possible to add an effective/expiration date to each template so that the memberships didn't have to be changed on an individual basis but rather based on a template basis? Old rates would expire and new rates would take effect. This would really help keep things more efficient and would alleviate the chance of missing someone. Gyms could utilitze this feature as a reminder that it was a fair time for increases. All members should be billed based on an existing template so by implementing an expiration/effective date any changes should be captured. Each gym should have the option as to how often they would like reminders regarding rate increases (6 mo/1 year/2 year/etc) Have a tickle file that goes out to admin that lets them know that it has been x amount of time since last across the board increase or based on selected expiration you have the option to raise rates or keep them at current level. Just a thought as I get ready to tackle the major undertaking of individual rate increases :)

As you build this feature please make it such that it asks whether a new membership contract should be generated or not. Our membership contracts already state that our auto-renewal contracts are subject to price increases at anytime. The price change should not trigger the a new member contract unless you request it.
