Thank you for providing us with ideas. BEFORE creating a new idea, please search the forum. If the idea currently exists please vote for that idea rather than creating a new one.

We’ll regularly monitor new ideas and assign them an applicable status. Please understand that we may have to decline good ideas from time to time due to the the volume of ideas we get and our current product strategy. When we do assign a status to an idea please keep in mind that this is not a firm roadmap and all dates and statuses are subject to change. How can we build better software for you?

  1. Allow Gyms to create master achievements and goals that get "recognized" when accomplished.

    Similar to how Xbox achievements work. Allow a gym to create different goals and achievements in a gym that when someone accomplishes something - it gets recorded and they can amass "badges."

    An example would be "Perform 1 Muscle Up." When witness by a coach, they can award that athlete a "badge/achievement" that under their profile could list them. I would love to create tiers and goals for someone to say "I want that achievement" and work towards it.

    We definitely like this idea, just not sure if it’s something we will specifically add in the foreseeable future. We are making big upgrades to the performance tracking side of things and this could very well be included.

  2. Programing analytics

    Hi, Just had a few more ideas for features.
    I like the new way to enter workouts that is coming up on the 15th, I was hoping we could get some sort of analytic for programming.

    things like % of movements that are Gymnastics, Weight lifting, Monostructural,
    Total reps for the different movements ( individual movements like snatches T2B, burpees, amount of reps in different intensity ranges for strength, time domains.

    Also average scores for benchmarks, for individual gyms and for the Wodify community as a whole.

  3. How about integrating some of the elite box programming like Invictus into Wodify?

    Every morning you open Wodify and choose 'Invictus' or 'Outlaw' and their wod for that day automatically shows up at my box.

  4. Masters button

    How about adding a Masters button for athletes that complete the Rx Masters version of the workout?

  5. Automatic integration with fitness tracking apps

    Most people have some sort of fitness tracking app that covers a lot of areas that wodify does not. These specifically are running/cycling metrics as well as fitness metrics such as steps/sleep. I currently use Garmin Connect and Fitbit as well as Wodify. If you could link wodify to automatically post to one of these third party sites that consolidates all data that would be great.

  6. update the way we create metcons

    update the workouts so we can add more than one measurable. So if a workout has a time component and a weight component to it allow for both when setting up a metcon

  7. Open Competitions for All Wodify Boxes

    It would be great of all boxes were able to participate in a "monthly wod" where a single whiteboard is used for all boxes where individuals and gyms could compete and rank against one another. Taking it a step further, athlete rankings and gym rankings for the year could be calculated. Just for fun of course.

  8. Wordpress Integration Improvement:

    Wodify does not publish to Wordpress the way we'd like it to. When a wod is published from Wodify, there is only 1 blog category tag option and we have no customization of how the wod post looks. In an effort to make our lives easier, have one less thing to worry about daily, and answer the requests and concerns from our members about missing workout posts… we would need Wodify to automatically categorize blog posts based on the program it's under.

    For instance, we have 5 main programs in Wodify: Level 1, Level 2, CF Women, OPS (olympic lifting),…

  10. Analytics for Athletes via Email

    Have you ever played Fantasy Football? More specifically, have you ever used Yahoo! to participate in a league. If not, there is a nice feature at the end of each week that provides an email recap full of analytics regarding your performance in the league for that week.

    Wodify should do the same. I would love to see metrics in my email on a weekly or bi-weekly basis about how I was doing compared to my own previous performance, national averages (amongst other Wodify users) for my lifts or gymnastic movements, or other folks in my gym.

  11. RECORD ALL LIFTS Reps and LOAD...

    Weightlifting should record all loads lifted...
    add like in Custom METCON, the option for adding the reps and load per set. quick fix to this current limited weightlifting set up....

  12. Whiteboard reporting for ties

    The Whiteboard lists one number for ties in time or weight. Example: 1, 2,2,2,3. It makes it hard to see the total number of people who work out on a given movement. It would be nice if it followed other sporting even rankings; for example: 1,2,2,2,5. If people are confused by that, you could list a small T or TIE after the number 2 in that example.

  13. Add % field to WOD weightlifting components

    Is there any way to have a % field entered here? One of the great things about all the data we have entered is the fact that it calculates a 1-rep max for members. It would be really cool if we could enter the % into our strength work here, and when the members log in, they could get their actual % they should be using for that day. The chart that's created is really cool, but it goes in increments of 5. If this could be done that would be awesome!

  14. import and upload program via spreadsheet or CSV

    would like an option to upload workouts/programs via spreadsheet template. If this is an option i haven't seen it.
    Using a simple template to create say a 12 week program and upload it to wodify with ease

    Having the ability to add specific notes for each workout about how the session needs to run that don't need to be visible for athletes

  16. Better Tracking for Timecap

    Different Scoring Options:
    Certain workouts are based off best time but need timecaps. So if you establish a timecap on a workout then if the athlete doesn't make that timecap then it should let them put in the second scoring option, such as rounds and reps, and rank the rest of the athletes that way.

    Drag & Drop Workouts

    If you show multiple weeks you should be able to drag a workout to a new day to copy it.

    This would make copying one-on-one or semi privates sessions faster

    It would be nice to have a "history" button on this page to go directly to any history of past performances of this WOD. similar to the one on the coach board with the graph. I know you can look it up but thats too many clicks. thanks!

  19. Option to have workouts or programs repeat at later dates when programmed

    Let's add an option when programming to have workouts or entire programs repeat at a set later date. This would enable both planned testing days to be programmed without repeat creation or copying, and would save copious amounts of time when simply rolling an entire program, such as a linear progression, foundations or bootcamp-like curriculum to a new start date.
